The Buckingham Bilingual School was the first school in Bogotá to get the Quality Certification that guarantees the standardization and high efficiency level of the administrative and academic processes offered by ICONTEC.
Quality Program.
The school is a member of the “American Society for Quality” ASQ; whose objective is to improve the educational practices in order to assure the effectiveness of the teaching processes.
Talent Enrichment and Development Program.
The school, as part of its formation process and according to the students’ talent, implements activities aimed at the development of interests, thinking skills, creativity and research projects.
The Human Potential Development Program.
In pre-school level, children develop their learning potential through sensory motor stimulation, reading-writing process, logical mathematics intelligence and knowledge related to their environment.
Cambridge Exams.

Technology.

Health and Values Program.
The Department of Psychology reinforces the student’s integral formation processes through weekly classes with each group. The focus of this is character Formation, Sex Education, Prevention of Alcohol Abuse and Drug Addiction, Professional Guidance and Citizen Values, amongst others.
Improving English Overseas.
In Fifth Grade students are advised to go on an overseas group trip that allows them to have a full immersion course in the English language and participate in a cultural exchange with people from other countries. This should be done under the school´s guidance.
Participation Systems.
The school counts on different organizations that guarantee the participation of all the sections of the community. Different committees are established by students, parents and teachers (values, integration, science and technology, ecology and sports).
IB Program.
Additional to the local high school certificate, the school offers the IB diploma to the students that complete the requirements of the program.
Vyda Program:
Values and self-esteem development; by means of which preschool and primary give parents the great opportunity to participate together with the psychology department helping students reinforce their values.
